Dev Log — Final Adjustments Before Launch

We’re a few days out from launch and the team is in full patch mode. If you’ve ever wondered what an indie studio does in the final stretch before going public, the honest answer is: fix things. A lot of things. Some important, some small, all necessary.

Here’s a summary of what we’re working on:

Camera: We’re repositioning the camera to give a better view of the battlefield during combat. It’s a change that meaningfully improves how you read the situation on screen while playing.

Monetization: Adjusting a few details to make everything clear and consistent. The model isn’t changing — no pay-to-win, no surprises — just making sure every screen communicates what it offers.

Translations: Fixing inconsistencies we found in the localization. If you reported any during Early Access, thank you — we genuinely read every single one.

Google SSO: Fixing Google sign-in on both Android and iOS. It should have worked before. Almost there.

Buttons: Some weren’t responding the way they should. Fixed.

Balance: Adjusting values to make sure the gameplay experience is fair from day one. Nothing dramatic — just tuning what the Early Access data showed us.

On top of all this, there’s a long list of minor fixes and performance optimizations that aren’t worth detailing one by one but together make the game noticeably smoother.

What the community asked for

Two things came up constantly in the feedback: ramming and crew systems. Ramming is already in the game — try it. The crew system is our number one priority after launch, alongside a Domination mode that’s also on the way. The next post covers both in detail.

The game will launch with bugs. That’s the reality of any launch and we’re not going to pretend we’re the exception. What we can say is that we’ll be on top of every report and the game will improve quickly after release. We’re committed to that.

See you on the oceans.
